Retail Therapy is about five very different ladies with one thing in common... We're insanely addicted to shopping! Sometimes we splurge on frivolous items and/or of necessity, great quality, and comfort. We spend to our boundaries and apparently those boundaries are pretty high! When there's extra money to burn, there's things to splurge on! Our style site isn't just all about our latest purchases or a place to brag either. We strive to supply you with information and reviews on the hottest items in season or straight classic. You'll find our top fashion faves to sexy outfits pulled together to even our fave places to shop! Not only do we love to shop but we talk about shopping, think about shopping, and dream about shopping. But of course every shopaholic could relate to our madness.

      Chrissie's Latest Purchases

Heather has been so busy lately she does't even have time to post! So I'm going to post one more time since I have saved up a massive number of blogs. Okay ladies, with all the summer stuff out of the way, it's finally time for fall/winter! I haven't really purchased any big fall item but I am definitely moving away from the summery feel.

David Yurman Silver 7mm Bracelet with Lemon Citrine from Neiman Marcus. $GIFT. I have always admired David Yurman's jewelry; literally every piece is beautiful. I was determined to get myself a piece for my birthday (which is not until around Christmas time) so I wanted to try on different pieces at NM. After deciding on the 7mm bracelet with lemon citrine (which is a gorgeous yellowish green color), my boyfriend surprised me by getting the bracelet for me. He's so silly; he wanted to get me my first piece of David Yurman so it's more sentimental. =)

Chloe Metallic Python Sandal Anthracite Metallic Pewter from Neiman Marcus. $SUPERSALE. When I first laid eyes on these bad boys I fell in love but the retail price tag knocked me off my chair. On top of that, python is illegal to own in California. But when I saw them on sale during NM's online last call sale, I knew I had to find a way to get them! I had them sent to a friend that lives in Seattle and have her resend them to me! They were worth all the trouble. Just look at how gorgeous they are.

Nicole Richie's Stella McCartney Pumps from Tracey Ross. $SALE. I noticed I have drifted away from the Manolo Blahnik and Jimmy Choo frenzy and onto the less mainstream lines of Chloe and Stella McCartney. These would go so well with my Chloe Silverado. If only I can find those Alexander McQueen Taupe and Brown Faux Snakeskin-Print Pumps that I have been dying for then I will stop shopping for shoes-right!

Theory Gabe B Blazer in Bittersweet from Off Saks. $SUPERSALE. I have always loved the color brown despite what others say about the color. After I got the Chloe Silverado, my love for it just grew! This would go so well with the Stella McCartney pumps.

Coach Sandy (S428) Sunglasses in Tortoise from Nordstrom Rack. $SUPERSALE. I'm sure everyone has trouble finding the perfect pair of shades but no one has as much trouble as I do! My nose bridge is short so it doesn't support a lot of sunglasses. I'm so glad big sunglasses have come back from the 60's because they rest perfectly on my short nose and frames my face shape perfectly.

Jessica Elliot Necklace from Billion Dollar Babes. $GIFT. I have no idea how but I keep missing 1 or 2 things I got from the Billion Dollar Babes sale back in August. My boyfriend got me this for our 1 month anniversary. There are so many ways to wear this! It's like 5 necklaces packed in 1! One of my stones did fall off after the first week of wear but I sent it back to Jessica Elliot and she repaired it for me at no charge! What great customer service she has.

Lola Style Leather Foldable Sandals from Billion Dollar Babes. $SALE. I really think this is the last thing that I have forgotten to post from the Billion Dollar Babes sale back in August. These were featured in Lucky Magazine earlier this year. The article reads “For weekend travelers, and those of us who like wearing comfy flip-flops on our way to the office but have to wear proper pumps when we get there, these bendable stashable yet cool-as-possible sandals are a godsend-they even come with their own handy pink satin pouch.

BCBG Max Azria Button-Up Shirt from Nordstrom Rack. $SUPERSALE. I've been forever looking for the perfect white button up shirt. The placement of the buttons is very very important, especially when you have a larger chest area. This one is perfect.

Citizens of Humanity Stretch Kelly Jeans in Caribbean from Nordstrom Rack. $SUPERSALE. COH is one of my three favorite designer denim jeans lines that also include Joe's Jeans and True Religion. COH has a slightly higher rise (½ inch) than your other designers and make your behind look fantastic!

Citizens of Humanity Stretch Faye Jeans in Colorado Black from Nordstrom Rack. $SUPERSALE. I love the color of these, definitely not your typical blue jeans.

Havaianas Flip Flops in Shocking Pink from Body Option. $SALE. I got these to wear at my boyfriend's house. He has hardware floor and I hate walking on it bare-footed! It's so cold!

Ikea Aneboda Chest with 3 Drawers from Ikea. $RETAIL. The matching chest to my Aneboda wardrobe.

Ikea Tovik Corner Desk from Ikea. $RETAIL. The living room in my new apartment is much smaller than my old apartment so I couldn't fit my big L-shaped computer desk in here. This one minimizes the space that it takes up but still have enough room for work.

Ikea Tovik 1-Drawer Unit from Ikea. $RETAIL. I should have taken pictures of all my furniture right after assembly like Heather did. Look all the mess on/in my desk/1-drawer unit!

      Chrissie's Latest Purchases

Ok...these are everything that I had forgotten to post that I got during all those spring/summer sales! Now that I finally got those spring/summer stuff out of the way, I can't wait till I post some of my fall/winter purchases! This is gonna be a baller blog as Heather would call it! =D

Rachel Pally Kimono Top in Black from Jessica Style Classifed - breakawayspot. $SALE. Just a few months ago I was in love with Rachel Pally's line. I am not as excited about it as I used to be. The quality of the fabric doesn't hold up as good as I originally thought it would be. I have over 10 pieces of Rachel Pallys and I'm just so disappointed!

Theory Clemi Sea Point Shirt from Neiman Marcus. $SALE. This outfit created a mini-craze over at Jessica Simpson Style. It is such a cute outfit with the Morrigan Spa Shorts!

Theory Morrigan Spa Short in Safari from Neiman Marcus. $SALE. And the shorts to go with the outfit...

Jessica Simpson's Park Vogel Cami with Built-in Bra in Slate from Scoop NYC. $SALE. This is by far the most comfortable tank I have ever tried. Park Vogel usually make their tops out of sheer mercerized cotton which I don't really prefer. This one is made of the softest cotton and I just had to get it in gray and black!

Park Vogel Cami with Built-in Bra Black from Scoop NYC. $RETAIL. And another one...

Jessica Alba's Juicy Couture Black Eyelet Skirt from Scoop NYC. $SALE. This is the only peasant skirt I got this summer (besides the shorter white bebe one I got earlier which I've sold at my garage sale). I love that this isn't white or any other summer color but black and a little sophiscated. I don't think I would have ever wore it the way Jessica Alba did but I love to wear it the way Jessica Simpson wore her Je Lee one. Please excuse Brownie. He insisted to be in the picture but what he doesn't know is that he just got a haircut (by me) and he looks so ugly! LOL.

Juicy Couture Shrunken Blazer in Yellow from Nordstrom. $SUPERSALE. I'm such a blazer girl. I have 5-6 blazers sitting in my coat closet. I love it with jeans, skirts, pumps, flats...you name it, I wear it with blazers!

Nicole Richie's Johnson Millicent Shorts from Intuition. $SALE. My friend Suzi had actually purchased these from Intuition but they were too big for her so she resold them to me because she knew how much I wanted them. She's such a sweetheart!

Jessica Simpson's Juicy Couture Terry Shorts in Neptune from Saks Fifth Ave. $SALE. I got a few terry pieces at Saks' Juicy terry sale. I never thought I would wear them out but I did wear them to my friend's birthday BBQ.

Juicy Couture Terry Capri Pants in Morgan from Neiman Marcus. $SALE. I got these to lounge around the house. I really don't need any more Juicy pants but just couldn't resist the sale.

Juicy Couture Terry Capri Pants in Morgan from Neiman Marcus. $SALE. One more pair in a different color!

Twelve Street by Cynthia Vincent Silk Slip from Neiman Marcus. $SUPERSALE. I needed something to wear under my sheer Vanessa Bruno dress. The tone of pink of the two go well with each other.

Lotta Stensson Goddess Dress in Seafoam from Billion Dollar Babe. $SUPERSALE. I love Lotta Stensson's design but her line doesn't fit me well in the chest. This dress shows an insane amount of cleavage but the beading and embroidery are so beautiful I couldn't give it up.

ROGAN "Who Pays Wins" Tee from Billion Dollar Babe. $SUPERSALE. Rogan is famously known for the "Save Your Drama For Your Mama" tee that was seen on every celebrity alive and of course Jennifer Aniston on Friends. I got my 2 tees at a great deal! Yeah it's another one of tees obsession which has moved on to sweaters lately!

ROGAN "44" Tee from Billion Dollar Babe. Yet another one...

Junk Food Dr. Pepper Sugar Free Tee from Hot Topic. $RETAIL. I Got this during my T-shirts obsession phase. =D

Gap Banded Scoop Neck Sweater from Gap. $RETAIL. My friends and I had this stupid idea to go down to Pier 39 and Fishermen's Wharf and pretend to be tourists. We actually ended up having fun except everyone was underdressed. San Francisco's weather is so unpredictable! It can be sunny and warm during the day and once 6 o'clock hits, it's as cold as a winter day! So the girls went into Gap and each bought a sweater to wear! I think that is why they opened a Gap there! They know that tourists have no idea the ugly weather SF has and so they would all have to go buy something warm to wear for the evening!

Danielle Stevens Beaded Necklace from Nessa Lee Style. $SALE. I loved all the turquoise beaded necklaces that I saw everywhere but the color of this one is beautiful. It's not quite turquoise but more of a seafoam color.

      Heather's Latest Purchases

Talk about a shopping rut. I really don't know what's wrong with me! I've been like this for months. I could tell you this though, ruts are more effective than bans! Give me another couple weeks. I might have some sense knocked into me and start buying more retail again.

2 Sets of Sculptural Block Wall Shelves in Chocolate/Espresso from West Elm. $RETAIL. I really like the quality of these shelves, despite the bad reviews I've read about West Elm. Simply solid block shelving that could be rearranged in different ways. It was a pain to align each 3 pc set the same on both sides of the livingroom. I plan on adding artistic vases but TJ likes it as is. We'll see!

Vintage Bloomingdale's Candystriped Top from Vintage Doll. $STEAL@RETAIL. My dear friend Cat opened up her one of a kind vintage store back in August and I'd like to congratulate her once again. I instantly bought this top from her and a couple weeks later, it was featured in her article on Style Chronicles! Great taste Sonja. *wink* This Bloomie's top is a lot higher quality than I thought it would be, with single needle tailoring by Mr. Witt in Plaza II.

Vintage Bead Disc Necklace from Vintage Doll. $STEAL@RETAIL. Another piece I had to instantly snag from Cat. I needed a unique white long beaded necklace for some of my outfits and this totally fit the part. I do strongly suggest with any vintage necklace, that it's doused in jewelry cleaner at least 2-3 times before first wear (being how anal I am, yes).

Geometric Triptych Wall Art in Chocolate/Espresso from West Elm. $RETAIL. As I was saying about the bad reviews, with this, the reviews are right! The color was supposed to be solid espresso as pictured, but it came as a dark chocolate with 3 streaks on each piece. WTF? And no screws. WTF, again? I'll be painting this later on to the correct color. Besides that, it was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Square wood art in 3-4 pieces.

Sferra Bros. Hemstitched Linens: 90" Round Table Cloth, 54" Square Table Cloth, Chair Pads, and Place Mats from Neiman Marcus. $SALE. What I like about this is that it could be used as casual or formal table linens. This, my friends, is my all-the-damn-time table linens. Hence the placemats for the messy babies, i.e. Gemma and TJ, that could be easily handwashed. This ensemble totally takes away the ugliness/traditional look of our dining set. -=D

Dransfield and Ross Rustic Place Mats from Neiman Marcus. $SALE. Very very very nice quality for place mats. Instead of a centerpiece, I opted for formal place mats. Worked as a double whammy as decor AND hot plates. They came much bigger than expected so it worked out for the best.

NuBra from eBay. $SUPERSALE. Yeah baby. You know it. Yeah... I'm talking to you Chrissie. LOLLL! 3rd one since Spring. That speaks a lot for it from me! I'm addicted to NuBra.

2 x Wheat Sheaf Bouquets from The Source Perrier. $RETAIL. These totally caught my eye when I saw it in their magazine. It was different from the usual flower bouquets or arrangements that people would usually have around their house. Wheat bouquets are an ancient symbol of Wealth. Interesting! Then TJ calls it "walis", which means a handheld broom. LOLLL!

Hanky Panky Low Rise Thong from Shop Tangerine. $SALE. Yeah I really didn't know what everyone's deal was with these Hanky Pankys but I had to try them for myself when I had an assisted buy for them. They really are super low rise and I love 'em!

White Barn Candle Co. Wallflowers Starter Kits in Blackberry and Moonlight Path from Bath and Body Works. $GIFT. Lorac Lip Polish in Groovy Fruit, Eyelash Curler/Comb Duo, and Mini Clear Brush Set from Sephora. $GIFT. I had to had to had to post these even though they're small gifts. These are from 2 of the sweetest Jessica Style girls. Sephora stuff from my Secret Jessica, Christie/i<3jessica. We both think alike. I added something to her list and she added something to mine! Wallflowers from my Ateh Jean/daydreamer as a Thank You. Ironically, I did need really nice air fresheners and these are perfect for the place!

      Chrissie's Latest Purchases

This is my little catch-up blog. I am finally posting some of the furniture I got for my new apartment! With the packing, moving, unpacking, and school starting, I feel like I don't even have time to sit down and breathe...

Dell Dimension 4700 Desktop from Dell. $Gift. My ex-boyfriend was selling one of his small businesses and gave me one of the computers from the business. I'm very much enjoying it!

HP Officejet 4215xi All-in-One Printer/Fax/Scanner/Copier from Costco. $RETAIL. My last printer's ink cartridge jammed and I was too lazy to go get it fixed so I bought this one. It has all the function I need and it's cheap! The best thing is, it's compact!

Panasonic KX-TG5431 Cordless Phone with Answering Machine from Circuit City. $RETAIL. I didn't really need a new phone but with all the new stuff I just couldn't help myself!

Ikea Klippan Loveseat from Ikea. $RETAIL. It was time to get rid of the old couch and get something smaller. I moved to a huge 1 bedroom townhouse a smaller apartment so I have to get rid of the big furniture.

Ikea Aneboda Wardrobe from Ikea. $RETAIL. My new apartment doesn't have a coat closet! What kind of apartment is that!?!? No worries, the Aneboda Wardrobe came to the rescue. Thank God I got this b/c I can't even move anything in my closet as is.

Ikea Branas Baskets from Ikea. $RETAIL. I have the biggest obsession with anything that's wickered, especially wickered baskets! These are for under my bedside tables for storing remote controls, body lotions, and etc.

Ikea Bumerang Hangers from Ikea. $RETAIL. I've been using these Ikea wooden hangers for my pants, jeans, and skirts for years. I swear by them and do not use anything else!

Wickered Basket Chest from Target. $RETAIL. And my obsession with wicker continues...

Desperate Housewives Season 1 DVD from Target $GIFT. My boyfriend surprised me with it when it was released! He knew how excited I was and decided to give me a little pleasant surprise.

Simple Life 2: Road Trip DVD from Half.com. $SALE. I've been wanting to get season 2 but never got around to it but I got a great deal on half.com. I love love love half.com! I buy and sell all my college textbooks there and now I'm finding cheap DVDs there too!
