Retail Therapy is about five
very different ladies with one thing in common... We're insanely addicted to
shopping! Sometimes we splurge on frivolous items and/or of necessity, great
quality, and comfort. We spend to our boundaries and apparently
those boundaries are pretty high! When there's extra money to burn, there's
things to splurge on! Our style site isn't just all about our latest
purchases or a place to brag either. We strive to supply you with
information and reviews on the hottest items in season or straight classic.
You'll find our top fashion faves to sexy outfits pulled together to even
our fave places to shop! Not only do we love to shop but we talk about
shopping, think about shopping, and dream about shopping. But of course
every shopaholic could relate to our madness.

Heather's Latest Purchases
This past month was hectic and it's already mid-November! Time is flying by fast as we're heading into the coldest nights of the winter (and warmest. NJ is so random). Boutiques are already having end of the season Fall sales! So the holiday season begins... Gucci 8505 Gold Watch from Neiman Marcus. $RETAIL. This was my present to TJ for our 1st wedding anniversary / 5th anniversary. The 8500 series is my fave out of all of them. Classic, masculine, wide timeless links, sophisticated, 18K gold plated, to die for! At first I thought, "Gucci? For men?" so then I had to get convinced by Chrissie that it was a great buy. It fits TJ's structure and personality perfectly. Gucci watches as seen on: Usher and more.
Umbra Ether Espresso Frame from Send A Frame. $RETAIL. The other part of my present to TJ. This frame is so intriguing and best of all, you get real quality for less. It has 3 layers inside so it creates this 3D effect. I love making things like this.
What did TJ give me, you ask? A nice day at Depasquale the Spa. Fully loaded with a Warm Stone Massage, Curative Age-Defying Facial, and Soak in the Splendor. Plus he paid for our entire weekend getaway in NYC. -=D We stayed in a deluxe king suite at the Marriott Marquis with a city view of Times Square (picture above). Including dinner atThe View (NYC's only revolving rooftop restaurant) and Spanish Tavern in NJ. I ate so much Rack of Lamb Au Jus, Creme Brulee (and other European cremes), Goat Cheese Terrine with Prosciutto, and cakes (Chocolate Lava and Key Lime). And my fave part of all, my Saturday afternoon surprise. A ceiling of hearts that he made himself!! Awe!

Vintage Choco-Coco Circle Leather Waist Belt from Vintage Doll. $STEAL@RETAIL. When I first laid my eye's on this belt, it screamed "buy me!". It reminded me of an original vintage version of Nicole Richie's Costume National belt. Fit smaller than I thought but luckily I'm petite as it is (not skinny but petite!). The leather quality is really soft. Cat's just awesome.
Inhabit Cashmere Cowl Sweater from Big Drop NYC. $RETAIL. So I get this on our anniversary after we left the Marquis, why? I don't know. But I really really really needed more black in my life, especially black cashmere sweaters. Very unusual compared to the rest of Inhabit's line. I love the drape and flow of the neckline. Inhabit as seen on: Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson, and Lindsay Lohan.
Stella McCartney Lace Tank/Lingerie from Extralaces. $STEAL. So I decided to keep this finally (after almost 2 years). Pieces like this are great for layering outfits, though the connected part at the bottom isn't as versatile as I hoped it would be. Black lace is a nice additive for the F/W wardrobe. Stella McCartney as seen on: many many celebs.
Disney Cinderella Costume from Toys R Us. $RETAIL. Isn't she just ADORABLE?! On Halloween, my mom's next door neighbor told us that Cinderella is the favorite for PreK-K girls this year. And of course every time Gemma saw a princess (or a lady with a beautiful gown), she'd say she's Cinderella and pretend she's Cinderella too. We also bought her a lot of F/W clothing, few toys and art activities (including that Aquadoodle, damn child targetted commercials), and lots of panties! Hehe!
Korres Guava Body Butter from Sephora. $RETAIL. By far the best body cream ever made for mankind (okay maybe I'm exaggerating but you get my point). It may be too thick for most people but for those that have eczema, dry skin, uneven skin, stretch marks, whatever, this is the key product to get. No more using Creme de La Mer all over my body anymore! LOL!
Flower Arrangement from Flowers by Elizabeth. $GIFT. As I said before, I love my Jessica Style girls! Sophie/Fashion-Victim sent me these flowers as a surprise. Knowing how much detrimental stress I was going though (and still am but not as bad as before), it was a really really really sweet gesture and definitely put a smile on my face. Thank you Sophie!
