Retail Therapy is about four very different ladies with one thing in common... We're insanely addicted to shopping! Sometimes we splurge on frivolous items and/or of necessity, great quality, and comfort. We spend to our boundaries and apparently those boundaries are pretty high! When there's extra money to burn, there's things to splurge on! Our style site isn't just all about our latest purchases or a place to brag either. We strive to supply you with information and reviews on the hottest items in season or straight classic. You'll find our top fashion faves to sexy outfits pulled together to even our fave places to shop! Not only do we love to shop but we talk about shopping, think about shopping, and dream about shopping. But of course every shopaholic could relate to our madness.

Our Must Haves

Skinny Jeans: Heather LOVES LOVES LOVES skinny jeans. It's more flattering to certain body types (petite, normal, and thin). These are the ones with a 9-14" leg opening, preferably 10-12" and completed with zips. Try Tsubi Super Skinny Zip, Sass & Bide Frayed Misfits, Miss Sixty J-Lot, or Stella McCartney Drainpipe (Either Stella's own or H&M's line). We definitely recommend them all.
Tsubi Super Skinny Zip Jeans, $171-$209. Tsubi Lean Beans Jeans, $206-$255. Miss Sixty J-Lot Jeans, $150. Sass & Bide Frayed Misfits Jeans, $242.
Stella McCartney for H&M Denim Pants, $69.90. Topshop Indigo Baxter Skinny Jeans, $72. J Brand 12" Pencil Jeans, $150. Earnest Sewn Harlan Cigarette Leg Jeans, $189-$210.

Super High Heels: Heather has this mad craze for 4.5"-6" super high heels, especially with set-back detail. Given an intricate sex appeal, these shoes are literally sex on heels. Go with round toe pumps, open toe sandals, or platformed heels. Top 3 faves of this season are Gucci Platform Sandals, Christian Louboutin Clichy 125mm, and Balenciaga Mirror Sandals.

Gucci Platform High 125mm Sandals, $725. Christian Louboutin Clichy 125mm Pumps, $495. Balenciaga by Nicholas Ghesquiere Mirror Sandals, $857.
Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Sol 105mm Raffia Pumps, $495. Lanvin Platform Heels. Christian Louboutin Decollete 868 110mm Pumps, $540.

High Waist Tapered Pants: Heather's inlove with tapered trousers with a figure flattering high waist cut. Achieves that sophisticated yet fashionable look and at the same time, adds shape. Another plus is that it makes your legs look longer. Wear them at ankle length with patent flats or a little longer with heels.

Form by Jerry Tam Tapered Pants. Lola Belle Stretch Twill Skinny Pants, $170. Chloe Skinny Leg Pants, $675. Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Slim Tailored Pants.

Thick Waist Belts: Heather adores waist belts held right at the mid-waist. It shows that illusion of a nice femininely figured appearance for any body type. It deserves all it's hype for S/S 2006. Major favorite this S/S 2006 season, the Fendi B Belt.

Fendi B Belt, $510. Lanvin Wide Patent Leather Belt, $1275. Vintage Waist Belt, $15.
Costume National Silk Croc Belt, $477. Costume National Circle Belt, $477. Yves Saint Laurent Buckle Waist Belt, $295.

Stripes! Vertical Bottoms and Horizontal tops: Heather finds stripes irresistible. Especially in black and white, vertical for pants or tights, and horizontal for tops. Vertical stripes makes your legs look incredibly long and sexy. For tops, you could go thick a la Edie Sedgwick or medium like Chloe and Marc by Marc Jacobs.

Balenciaga Stripe Skinny Trousers. Vintage Versace Couture French Knit Pants, $610. Wolford Skyscraper Tights, $82. Norma Kamali Striped Tights, $40.
Woo Mini V-Dress, $133. Chloe Striped Boatneck Top, $360. Vintage Classic Fashions Warehouse Sweater, $49.95.

Black, White... and Red!: Heather is obsessed with this S/S 2006 black and white mixture with a splash of red to break the black. Outfits including the Ella Moss Chelsea B&W Cardigan with a long black tank, Rachel Pally Black Leggings, and Vintage Red Capezio Boots.

Fabric, Minimalist, Thin Bangles, Oh My!: Heather feels the transition from this past S/S's craze with thick wooden bangles to this F/W assorted fabric bangles by Lee Angel, distorted Minimalist type wooden bangles, and thin copper bangles by Yochi.

Layered Gold Necklaces: Heather totally sweats the huge craze on layed gold necklaces, especially by Yochi, Marni, David Yurman and best of all, VINTAGE. It's all about statement necklaces now as opposed to thin beaded. This is definitely one staple trend that won't ever go away.

Full Bishop Sleeved Blouses: Details to come.

Shearling boots/Mocassin boots: Cel wears her UGGs or Minnetonka's every-dang-day! UGGs are definitely a wardrobe staple for many ladies. It's all about the comfort.

Pictures to come: UGG Classic Tall Boots, UGG Sundance Boots, Minnetonka Front Lace Hardsole Boots, Nike Winter High Boots.

Winter Coat: Lani still wears the Esprit long pea coat that she bought a few years ago

Denim Capris: Drie likes the MUDD No Waist Capri's from Alloy.
